Role objectives

Person in a role of IT Compliance Analyst will have the following main objectives:

  • Ensure timely and proper reaction and follow-ups from IT practitioners to recommendations from Internal Control and external parties
  • Interface IT practitioners and IT Management to Internal Control team and external auditors and ensure:
    • efficient communication and interactions
    • required trail and documentation of controls
  • Maintain artefacts related to IT Audit follow-ups
    • Archive and Knowledgebase
    • Regular reports

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the IT management on the IT and IT-related Audit activities to ensure outcome acceptance
  • Ensure that implementation of agreed IT Audit recommendations is tracked, recorded, and reported as per the GPG Group standards
  • Maintain IT audit and compliance knowledge database
  • Maintain GPG Group level IT compliance policies knowledgebase
  • Monitor controls of the internal policies, consolidate practitioners’ feedback and report on gaps, deficiencies, or breaches
  • Provide operational support to various compliance activities
  • Participate in reviews of company IT-procedures and processes for continuous improvement and ensuring compliance to the GPG Group IT standards and policies
  • Other duties as Head of Group IT Compliance may define from time-to-time

  • Business representatives of all levels at different Gazprom group companies
  • Internal Control team
  • External auditors of IT areas

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of IT processes and how they influence business
  • Ability to identify issues that need further testing and understanding of own limitations/when to consult
  • Acts as a change catalyst – proactively reaches out and challenges status quo
  • Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations
  • Demonstrates flexibility of approach and is comfortable with a fast-paced environment, that requires both teamwork and self-sufficiency as necessary

Experience

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • ITIL Certification is an advantage
  • Designing and implementing documents – policies, processes, and solutions
