The Corporate Accounts Executive is responsible for supporting the Account Managers in the renewal of complex fixed and flexible Gas and Power contracts to large and prestigious customers.

Role objectives

The Corporate Accounts Executive is responsible for:

  • Supporting the Account Managers in the renewal of complex fixed and flexible Gas and Power contracts to large and prestigious customers.
  • Expanding TPI Relationships
  • Query Management and resolution for customers and TPIs
  • Utilising data to help improve and enhance decision making / innovation


A key task of this role is to manage queries from allocated TPIs baskets for the Corporate Accounts team, resulting in long term strategic partnerships with the UK and Ireland’s largest energy consultants and some large direct customers.

Fundamentally this role is a support role and it is critical that the role holder has excellent customer service and analytical skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Day to day account management of large customers, working closely with other Gazprom Energy teams and external third parties to resolve customer queries to a high standard and in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop Gazprom Energy’s reputation for customer service, industry knowledge and product flexibility.
  • Participate in project-based work to help support the corporate teams continuous innovative approach to Always Reach for Better.
  • Utilise data to help support evidence-based decision making.
  • To be willing to represent and promote the Gazprom Energy brand both internally and externally attending customer meetings alongside he account managers.

  • Good Microsoft Office computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly digest and understand information.
  • Ability to develop and continuously improve processes.
  • Self-motivated with the skills to engage and inspire others


  • Knowledge of the UK Energy Industry and its operations enabling for more efficient query handling
  • Experience in a customer facing role and liaising with customers via typical communication channels (verbal/written)
  • Sound knowledge and experience in Industry processes
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Demonstrable ability to work under pressure and manage high volume workflows
  • Strong communication skills: Demonstrable ability to build long term relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) in both a written and verbal format
  • Good understanding of customer journey from the initial call with a prospective customer to issue of final invoice or confirmation of renewal contract.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and individually to ensure continued excellent customer service delivery


  • Degree level education preferable or equivalent industry or customer facing experience
